About Me
I am a Clinical Psychology PhD Candidate at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a predoctoral intern at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. I am developing a career as a clinical scientist focused on understanding and treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and complex psychiatric comorbidity.

Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center

Part of treatment team for veterans engaged in residential treatment for PTSD. Provide evidence-based psychotherapies for PTSD. Participate in national rollout training for Cognitive Processing Therapy. Use the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5 diagnostic interview to assess PTSD symptoms. Provide milieu therapy for veterans on residential PTSD unit. Provide group psychotherapy.
Shock Trauma Outpatient Pavilion at the University of Maryland Medical Center

Provided trauma-focused assessment, psychoeducation, and psychotherapy for patients with depression, anxiety, acute stress disorder, and PTSD who were previously hospitalized at Shock Trauma. Provided written exposure therapy and promotion of emotional disclosure to treat these conditions. Coordinated care with multidisciplinary health team including medical providers, lawyers, social workers, and nurses. Engaged in program development and evaluation as part of launching multidisciplinary health clinic.
The Bethesda Group - Linehan Board CertifiedTM DBT Program

Provided dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to clients with emotion dysregulation. Part of full-model DBT program that included individual therapy, co-leading a skills group, engaging in phone coaching with clients, and participating in consultation team.
Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center

Provided neurophysiological assessment to veterans participating in heart-rate variability biofeedback for depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Provided psychoeducation on the physiological sequelae of PTSD and related conditions.
Mountain Manor Treatment Center

Provided individual and group psychotherapy to individuals engaged in residential or outpatient treatment for substance use disorders. Primarily used cognitive behavioral therapy for substance use disorders and motivational interviewing to treat substance use and facilitate relapse prevention. Delivered written exposure therapy to treat patients with co-occurring PTSD.

Provided outpatient psychotherapy. Learned and implemented cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and acceptance and commitment therapy to treat depression, anxiety, and trauma-related distress.
